The Process

What should I expect during the step by step BIT protocol?

Assessment

The process begins with an assessment to determine current brain access and function, using a combination of muscle activation and physically testing the eyes, auditory and visual memory, balance, coordination and reading comprehension.  With this information, the therapist will be able to estimate the amount of time needed to complete your integration.  The assessment and discussion of the findings usually takes around 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Treatment
Then treatment begins with the client laying on the table, while the therapist uses muscle activation and the electromagnetic language of the body to determine the brain pathways that need to be opened.  The correction is a neurovascular hold, done while the therapist lightly holds acupressure points on the forehead and back of the head.

Repatterning
Once all the brain pathways have been opened to 100%, the therapist challenges these pathways to make sure they will remain open when under stress.  The assessment protocol is then repeated to make sure that the brain integration is complete.  Once the integration is complete, the client will be advised to use these pathways...the more they are used...the stronger they will become.  For students and people with a learning disability, a tutor will be needed to relearn the material that was missed before the integration.

The BIT protocol generally takes around 12 hours to complete.  Given the degree of complexity some take more time and some less.
